I was wondering if there was a meeting of the would leaders in the US mid west today . Wind out the south west today is crazy with rain and sleet on and off all day . Sustained winds not bad but some of the gusts shook the barn like an earth quake . Now the wind keep changing direction . Don't know from one minute to the next which direction it is going to be coming from next . This little piggy is in a wood frame house . The fact that it is 106 year old and still standing bring me releaf though .
Anyone else getting crazy weather
Ps. glad this thing has spell check lol

Let me tell you, the motorcycle ride back from downtown Toronto tonight was interesting with the wind gusts here and there

@DavidBarkey it was that way here in central Wisconsin too. Had 1" or so of snow yesterday morning. South wind and mid 40's yesterday melted it quick. Today gusty wind from the NW bringing in cold and snow tonight.
That time of year, can't make up it's mind what it wants to do.

It was a windy day here also today. We dd have some occasional driving rain too. I was mostly inside today watching grandchildren, but I did go out a few times to upright a few Christmas decorations that blew down.
As far as riding a motorcycle from downtown Toronto. Are you out of your mind! I guess I forgot about some of the crazy stuff I did when I was younger. Forgive me for that comment. Ah, to be young again.
Keep the Peace

Today wasn't so cold, 9C/48F. I used to ride in well below zero temps when I was younger, when the roads were clear. It's all about good gear. The worst is for the knees and hands. But after I got heated gloves half the equation was solved. For the knees I used pads made of sheepskin. I no longer ride once it gets around zero celsius. Well, I do, but only tractors!

Reminds me of a teacher in junior high school. There was 4+ inches of snow on the ground, but roads were clear, Mr Hack would ride his motorcycle into school. Dressed in a snowmobile suit and helmet

Was very windy yesterday for us too, gusts were coming from every direction, but at least the garbage and recycling didn't get blown everywhere!
Eugen good on you! I generally don't ride under 10C/50F. You're right about good gear - makes a huge difference. I do enjoy my heated grips too
