Colt Case Ingersoll Garden Tractors

This is how I got it. Larger diameter pipe over the elbow that comes out of engine. Big gap there and I really don't like exhaust fumes coming right in my face.

Tested two different patching kits, one from Amazon and another from Canadian tire. The second one was JB so I had some expectations. Both of them kept on smoking worse than the exhaust! Terrible.



Needs to be done differently.

I will get a picture later, but, I used an exhaust pipe from the later tractors that wrap around to the other side of the engine. Then I built a support for the pipe and the aftermarket muffler. It is quiet and has been on it for a year now and no issues.

And then there are guys that can get repops made of the original here in the states. caseingersollparts.com I think sells them.
