Poor man's power steering

Following info found on the web, thanking sdunt for his writings on the topic, I ordered some needle roller bearings from ebay and they finally arrived.
When I find the time to install them on the 644 I'll post the doings.
The type I got are these

I've run these on my 4016 for a few years now. Steering effort is much lower. The only time I have to put any real effort into steering is when I have either my SB48 or Berco snowblower on the front and I'm in the garage.
I've been thinking of putting together some posts on steering improvements but haven't had the time with the new baby.

So far I can't say it was hard steering. But it gives me pleasure to make all my devices better if possible.
I know you're busy Matt! Will appreciate your tips on steering improvements!

Before I built the new super duty front axle for Frankie I put these in . That required some material removed from the bottom of the axle ends . Did the job quiet well . I still have that axle and it will be going into the 446 snowblower tractor . It will be front mount with a heated cab .
