A tri-axle load of topsoil arrived this afternoon.
There will be quite a few hours of seat time moving the pile onto the slope before seeding.

No loader work? How many yards did you get? This probably sounds dumb but do you order meters of dirt in Canada?

@MattA
Cubic yard (imperial ) or Tonne (metric)
Tonne 1000 kg = 2204.6 lbs
Ton 2000 lbs

@MattA I will have to get back to you after I receive the bill. The amount delivered depends on road capacity laws and time of year. This time of year the load restrictions should have been removed.

@Matt, I wiil have to answer that after getting the bill. I did make an assumption that seasonal road weight limits had been removed.

It rained all night, but fears of waking up to topsoil being washed down the driveway were unfounded.

Garden and Dahlia bed tilled this morning.
It is time to put the mower deck on.
In the past 2 weeks the 448 has had the front blade on, the chipper, the drag blade, the dump trailer, the wagon, the tiller, and by evening the deck. That will be 1 accessory for every day of the week.

@MattA I received the invoice for the topsoil today. Billed at 22 tone or 24.2 ton. So the load was about 24 cubic yards.
