1982 Case 446 with loader and wooden snow pusher and 1970 John Deere 140H3 with #49 snowthrower removes some snow. Lots more to do. And maybe another storm Sunday and Monday coming.

Hehe. Nobody in their right mind would do that Dave. Sooooo, I just replay my you tube video and take pictures as it’s playing.
Yes machines are working good.

The 140 is a killer snowblower. It was better than the 444 in the majority of the snow conditions I get. It was a somewhat sad day when I sent it to it's new home. The more narrow discharge chute tended to throw a bit further, and I also prefer the chute rotation mechinism over the Case design. The 444 won out though as it is more useful for other jobs than the 140 was for me. Same Kohler in both, so no complaints there either way.

Looks like fun Noel. I assume your cleaning up from the same snowstorm we had Sunday/Monday. I'm not sure how much snow we are getting this Sunday.
@Toolslinger some people have modified the snowcaster chute adding a taper to it. I believe
@Jancoe posted some pics of his chute at some point. I may even have them. If you search youtube for "case 448 night work", user grum911, (different person) he has some videos of his modified chute blowing snow. I can post the video but I don't want to hijack Noel's thread anymore

Hi Matt. Yes was fun and yes same storm. And snow amounts from this weekend storm are all over the place and depends the weather station.
I added a piece of pipe to my Case 224 snow caster. And tapered it down to 6”. Seemed to help, and I coat my throwers and blower, plows, shovels and even my wooden snow pusher with Tremclad clear gloss paint. Helps keep snow from sticking.
