preserving eggs without refrigeration

We water glassed some of our eggs 08/2024 . Put them in the cold room. Tested a few about 6 months later , they were ok . Forgot about them . Saw them today and decide I should test a few . Note , reports form people doing this are that done right this way eggs could last up to 2 plus years . That being said , I did all the normal test . Float test = good , crack and smell test = good cook and eat test = well I am still alive to write this . Would you eat eggs that had the bloom washed off and covered in seed oil to "preserve" it after sitting over a year refrigerated ???
