difficult to tell because oil wicks . Use some break clean and clean really well so all is dry . Run for tractor a round for a few minute then recheck blowing flour over the area with hair drier or air nossel . It will highlight the source and is easy to clean up . Then let us know what you find

Definitely hard to tell, but the easy thing is usually to look at the highest up item that appears wet. In this case it looks like it might be your brake drum shaft seal leaking. Not a super fun repair so I'd recommend cleaning things up to get a better look at the leaks like @DavidBarkey suggested.

I agree with Dave on all points. The brake shaft can be difficult to remove. It would be a good time to check axle bushings and change axle seals.

Also, if it turns out to be the brake shaft seal that is leaking, make sure that the oil level in the transaxle is not too high. A leaking output shaft seal on the hydraulic motor can cause that.

Almost everyone of my GT’s have a small leak somewhere. I figure with most of them are fifty years old so a little drip here and there is no big problem.

When the drive motor shaft leaks, it fills the transaxle with oil. I did not enjoy that fix. I cannot remember why, though. It was probably because I had just changed to oil, I think.
