Ingersoll SB48 snow blower (snow caster).

The SB48 snow blower attachments were originally designed to be used on the 3000/4000 series tractors.
This unit has the Ingersoll C45802 kit installed to convert it to be used on the 200/400 series tractors (engine rotation was different on these models). This SB48 was installed on an Ingersoll 226.
It also has the 19 tooth drive gear upgrade installed which makes the auger spin faster.

SB48 was the latest model produced for the 3000/4000/4200 series tractors. Its got more teeth on the drive sprocket to spin the auger faster + its got a chain adjuster that the older models did not have. Might also have a slightly smaller pulley for increased throwing distance?

That's a good deal for someone nearby.
