Next weekend is the Show. I'll will be there all long weekend. As you can see the ploughing is scheduled for Sat at 9:00am,but we can plough anytime as long as there is field left. I think 9:00am is too early, I usually don't get setup about 11:00am.

If you want to bring a tractor, you must have an insurance bill etc. with company header to show that you have house insurance or content insurance. That's enough to cover personal items you have with you (ie tractor). In fact, they will accept any document that has "Insurance" written on it with insurance company name/logo.

BTW, camping is super cheap, and they have facilities. It's worth it to stay over a night or two!

Friday is mostly set-up time and Monday is break-down time. So, best days are Saturday and Sunday. The itinerary is mostly the same for both days. GT ploughing is scheduled for Saturday, but can be any time really. Some times the field isn't ready by 9:00; the grain hasn't been taken off yet. They stook (how do you spell that?) it, and then take to old fashion thresher machine.
I'll be at the GT tent, which is between the windmill and the main path.

Gotta love Facebook "Memories" when fun ones pop up...
Seems we were last at the Georgian Bay Steam show 14 years ago ~
Miniature Steam engine - "steamed Corn on the Cob"
I think Allis Chalmers was the featured maker that year
of course there were lots of steam engines to see as well...
