Colt Case Ingersoll Garden Tractors

I have an old Roper 21" (AYP) rear tine roto-tiller that I use for weeding between rows . The tines have become so worn out that it just not doing the job anymore . I found the equivalent Husqavarna (AYP) parts diagram , and they are still available at $25 US plus $ ect. . Not in the budget when needing 16 of them . I shopped around for tines and found aftermarket tines to fit a Toro on Evel Bay that the measurement suggested would work . At less than $120 all in with hardware I pulled the trigger . I am happy to say they fit and are working great . I think I got my $$ worth out of the old ones .

David I remember back when I was starting to garden my Dad gave me an old front tine tiller. The engine needed some tlc and tines were very worn. I had no extra money to purchase new tines. I ended up welding some metal unto the ends of the tines. It worked fine for years until I gave the tiller to my brother. Harry

Last year I added a "bush guard " to keep the plant from getting tangled in the machine when they got bigger . I also added a piece of conveier belt to the front of the tine guard to keep the dirt from being flinged forward and dirrect it to the sides again .
