HarryHad to take a look since it's not far from me and I had to give my truck a check out, replaced a radius arm trashed by a deep pothole. The GT sounded pretty tired to me also, Has a new battery and solenoid. The caster auger bearings are shot, has some up and down bounce to it. Said he listed the caster for $575 separately but I could have the whole thing for $900. I passed, my 224 takes care of the big snows in my area just fine but I do have that itch for a big wheel. I bought the cab so that is no longer available, almost bought the whole thing but transporting was a problem. The Craigslist price though was then $950 with the cab and I paid $280 for that. So the GT runs, but had a bad battery (might have been replaced now) but run very rough, The deck is totally shot! no way to bring that back at all. The GT is in reasonable shape though but as I said needs work. The snow blower is the latest three digit (S48) and needs new bearings, minor auger damage (looks like it had been used on a gravel drive). Not interested in the GT but I have offered $300 for the blower as is (needs new bearings and TLC). I noticed that the $950 complete package with Cab is now $975 without cab.. So we shall see. The guy seems motivated but he got the whole package for less than $350 from a renter of one of his properties! Your choice here..

Give it time . It may still be there at the end of the summer and be a more acceptable price . Or something else may come up .
