Christmas 2023: What do you wish for?

So guys, I'm wondering, is there anything you wish for this Christmas? Whether it's something you will get, or just something you wish for, what is it?

I wish for AG/construction tires for the orange blob, which has turf tires now. But of course, it's something I'm not getting on account of :$$: :$$: :$$:
I also wish for some Apple AirTags, as a recovery measure in case of theft (again, concerning the orange blob). :bee:

Disclaimer: with full acknowledgement that the true meaning of Christmas is not presents and the materialistic side of it, please take this as a light hearted discussion about the Christmas tradition of gift making. :violin:

I heard a good song today on the radio. “All I want for Christmas is a real good tan”. :peace: Harry

I really dont have anything other than a couple items for around the shop. I’m just looking forward to a quiet day! I guess if I could tell Santa what I wanted It would be a mid 1970s Ford F250 4X4! :D too bad it wouldn’t fit under the tree! Or a nice track loader! I got plenty of trees outside it would fit under!

A few days off and getting together with family. But if Santa is listening, a nice '76-446 would be nice under the tree. ;)

When I was about 18 or 19, first year out of high school I was working construction and living at home. Money to burn or so I thought.... I ordered a new 1977 Ford F250 4x4 Ranger XLT with every option. Traded in a "73 Ranchero GT with 20K miles and paid cash for the rest. It was an early '77 so still the high rider as they redesigned and lowered the F250 mid year. First thing that I did was put the white spoke wheels on with 35" tires. Still have it but has sat forever. Could be a great restoration project for you!!

My wish is to stay reasonably healthy. At my age anything could go wrong quickly.
I would like a compact tractor 4x4 with loader. But that ain’t gunna happen.

Really good old trucks, when a truck was a truck. What kinda shape is it in, don't you need a project. That Ranchero would be a cool old one to have too. Oh all those things we did when we were young and dumb and had cash. :headbash:

That's a great story Bob! I have another Christmas wish, that Jeff gets your truck and restores it :D

It's amazing though, can a 19 years old today work and save money and buy a new Ford F250? 🤷‍♂️
