Is a hard winter coming?

My Mom always said in the fall of the year if the caterpillars are black and brown, it will be a hard winter. Have any members seen any caterpillars yet?

We were told the same thing around here. Have seen any caterpillars yet but I won’t be long now.

I’ve been seeing them for a while. But more orange in them.

I have seen two black and brown furry caterpillar about a week ago I think.

Uh-oh. First woolly worm I’ve seen so far and he’s saying a tough winter is coming.

A hard frost this morning . I hope Jack is just messing with us . I am not ready

Me too, to much to do. But getting there with out side work. But still many tractors to service. Lgt165 Ford and Case224 are done. Plus the Ferguson and the Ford 1210 are done. But they were done a month or more ago.
