Interesting for sure. I've read all threads on the topic of building an articulated machine from two Case rear ends and even had plans to build one. Looks like a restored or factory tractor, someone put a lot of work in the details of the build. I do wonder if they used a higher volume hydraulic pump though, and I reserve the right to doubt that the 12HP Kohler is adequate for this idea.

I think the factory hydraulic system about maxes out the 10HP Kohlers. I think these builds usually plumb the hydraulic motors in series.

IMHO drives in series defeats the idea of two independent drives altogether. If one gets stuck the other gets stuck too. Unless I'm understanding this all wrong. I think a better system would be a higher flow pump, feed the drives in parallel, and a 20hp engine. Then I'd say it's useful and closer to a 4wd.

I always liked the look and even was considering building one. Iām not sure how practical one would be. More of a money pit to trailer to shows.
