Let's be careful out there

Probably of limited application to us in general, but a reminder doesn't hurt:

Let's be careful when operating equipment.

Hate to see that. Sounds like the poor guy is in tough shape right now.

Good call bringing up safety Bob. Belts, drivelines, augers can get you quick. A reminder never hurts.

Even the most mundane of things can leave a lasting impression on you . Like a hood . Unlike the plastic and tin mowers of today , Ours were built of seireous steel and iron . Like :wife: s they will :fight: back if not treated with respect . :dizzy:

Gets me thinking of how often I am in a hurry and catch myself starting to get off the tractor with the deck or caster still engaged. I call myself a damn dummy every time :109:

The news about Jeremy Renner is that he's in critical but stable condition, with blunt trauma to the chest and orthopaedic injuries. Apparently he pulled a relative vehicle out of the snow where he got stuck in Renner's driveway and then went out of the PistenBully to talk to the person, when the device started to move. He intended to get in and stop the PistenBully, which is a wide-tracked vehicle with a blade and most commonly used for grooming. Apparently he somehow ended up under the device which only stopped in the snow bank. Bleeding heavily was probably the worst immediate danger. I hate to think what might have happened to his leg(s).

Good reminder for us all. I too get off the tractor with the snowcaster still on, to change the chute angle sometimes. I will not do any longer.

Hopefully he recovers well. I've certainly enjoyed his character in the various marvel movies.

Jay Leno suffered burns to his face the other week while working on his white steam car but recovered ok. He has quite the car collection on his YouTube channel...

Legendary rally driver Ken Block died on Monday in a snowmobile accident. I've certainly enjoy his gymkhana videos, hoonigan videos ect...

Certainly a reminder to be careful.

Did you see the Tesla that went over a cliff in California? Reports vary from 250-300 foot drop. 2 things that are surprising (1) the battery did not rupture and catch fire. (2) By the grace of God the 2 children and their parents survived the crash :O Tesla has been getting all 5 star ratings on the crash tests, but this is unreal.
