@Eugen It says the engine runs good . Might be easier way to get 644 running . And in your neck of the woods .

His answer to my $5000 offer was "deal"

Turns out he's a decent human being with a sense of humour. I'm getting the motor, not for 5000, but a decent price. Just a couple of streets away from me. Sometimes providence just smiles on me. :worship:

Thats awesome bud . Now which gets the used motor and which get the rebuild ???

If this one runs well it goes to the 644, saves me the work of pulling out the rebuilt one from the 224.

The funniest thing happened. He's got a custom built loader possibly on a 190 frame. A really nice build, with beefy front end, and well done hydraulics, with hard lines and all that. But the rear axle kept on snapping so he ended up getting a 444 just for the rear end, hence selling the rest as parts. I invited him to check the forum out, I think he'd fit well here. We had a nice chat. Too bad he didn't know about my Case cemetery, he'd have gotten a rear end for a lot less. :rofl:
