What is his plan for it .?

Had a miserable afternoon in the garage disconnecting the hydraulic pump and removing the tins from my vanguard engine so that I could clean the carb properly and clean out the grass from the cooling fins. I last did this in 2019 and its overdue. I put about 50hrs a year on this machine. Its 90+% back together. I still need to change the oil, mount the snowblower (berco or snowcaster?), put on wheel weights and chains. I may not bother with the cab. It's a 2-3hr project.

Meanwhile I had a look at my plasma cutter, wanted to hook up a 240V plug to it.

Turns out someone tried to deal with some frying action and fix it. Not really fixed though. Now I need to find a schematic of this output board.

@MattA that seems like a lot of grass getting behind the tins. Did you find anything plugging up the carburetor?

@Eugen I wish I had your talent for working on electronics. If I pulled that board out of something I’d be done!
Ive still got to get mine set up for 240v as well.

When I was reconnecting the hydraulic pump I realized taking the hydraulic cooler cover off provides at least another 0.5" of space to get your hands in there. I don't recall this being so difficult in the past. I likely removed the cover in the past.

With my eyesight its difficult to tell. The main jet might have had a little varnish on it but I could still see though it. It's nice and shiny now.

As for myself, lots of brush cleaning from the four ash trees that got felled. A top came in handy as a midway lifter for the 80 feet 8/3 teck cable I did not bury but stretched through the air today (along two steel lines). There are a number of projects on the pipe line requiring the plasma cutter and the welder so 240v is necessary near the shop. Safety has been observed even though 2ft underground burial is how it would be proper.
