Re: The weather
No rain here but suppose to start tonight. I’ve been wanting to burn a brush pile in backyard but with it being so dry the Governor said no open burning because of wildfires in Eastern NY. So with the rain coming in it will be wet and I can burn the pile.

Re: The weather
Expecting similar weather here. I don't think we have had a decent amount of rain in two months. Lawn is green in some places and just dead in others. I don't know if its drought or grubs.

Re: The weather
My weather station apparently has crapped out... The one a mile away says about 3/8" of rain at home in PA. No where near enough to help, but better than nothing. Here at work in NJ, we're knocking on 1" which is a whole lot better. Came down a bit faster than ideal, I'm sure it hasn't had time to soak in at all except down south where it's real sandy. Good for them, it's even worse in the south of the state than up here...
Looking at the weather, they're actually threatening snow tomorrow night. Nothing to really speak of, but weird to see in a forcast after the super warm fall. Wouldn't bother me at all, I'll take any kind of moisture out there right now.

Re: The weather
First chilly day down here. Mid 30s this morning, low 40s this afternoon with wind. Quite shock to the system from the warm fall we’ve had.

Re: The weather
70% chance of snow tomorrow.
I think I better bring some wood in.
I’m picturing myself spending Saturday by a nice fire watching the snow fall!

Re: The weather
All manner of watches and warning for our area and others on the east sides of all the great lakes for lake effect snow monster coming through . Spent the day prepping for what I hope does not come .

Re: The weather
@DavidBarkey - Please, feel free to be greedy and keep as much of that snow up there as possible,
I've also been watching the forecasts - doesn't seem like we will get much on this corner of Lake Ontario
But I'm thinking @Harry might see a little bit of the white stuff before the weekend is over...
Stay safe guys
and let the tractors do all the work...
