3" of powder at home this morning at 3am when I headed to work.
Almost 3 hours later, and 96 miles, I got to work. Probably 3" here, and seemed like powder too. Checked outside around 2:30 this afternoon, and now, we've had some freezing drizzle, or rain, and everything is ice, and a complete death trap. Can't wait to head to the hotel tonight... Ugh.

On the plus side, the new snowcaster belts finally arrived in my mailbox after the USPS gave them the scenic tour getting them to me. They'll be waiting Monday when I get back... Another storm between now and then, and all cold... Hope that avoids the ice treatment at the house...

oh no! As much as I like Winter, ice and rain I do not. I'll take a foot of snow any day. Watch your step @Toolslinger !

Hi group, weather here has been sub zero for three days now, in the last week have filled the 226 4 times for clearing snow and wind blown drifts, still have about a gallon left in 5 gal. fuel can, sure is a blessing to have this machine. never want to be without out a case or wood burner in my shed, super happy with how much snow the caster moves, I keep a 444 with a blade on stand by and another lo boy 224 with caster on stand by, they have been waiting for snow duty about 5 years, good thing when spring comes they can be used then. :coffee: best of luck to all.

We got about 3" of heavy wet snow this morning. About 11am it changed over to heavy rain. I took the Berco out during lunch hour. 3" of heavy wet snow turned into 2" of really heavy wet and in some areas sloppy snow. Berco did a decent job. I do think the snowcaster with its low auger height does a better job in the low snow depths.

Sound like I got the same as you Matt. What a mess. 6C this morning. Dropping to -5C this afternoon. We got about 10 cm then turned to rain and 6C now. So it’s a very wet 10cm of snow out there and gunna freeze. I don’t know whether to try and move it or leave it and drive over it. If I move it, do it while it’s wet or wait till it freezes some. ?????

Yeah , but at least the sun is shining here for a change . It feels like I haven't seen it in a month.

Yep! I'm not complaining. We'll go out for sure, when I'm done working. If only for 15 minutes we still like going out and get some air. The kids need it, and I sure too. :canada:
