Well here’s our first snow of the season. It’s still going and there saying it will be off and on through tomorrow evening. Not sure what we’ll end up with but it won’t last long. News says the temps will be in the 40s for the new year.

Well winter is starting finally. That’s a bad thing.
But 1C today. So could be snow, freezing rain or ice pellets. 10 to 20 cm worth of something. Wind NE at 50 kilometres.

Still mild here, going into the 40's today. The weather guesser's are talking no cold till after the 10th of January. :106:

Simular here , 0C , clouds , light breaze out of the NE . More of the same for a couple of days . Good time to limb up the apple trees while there still is no $n0vv on the ground .

Yesterday had a blast of snow. It came down so much I couldn’t see in my backyard. Before an hour was up it was gone which almost covered the lawn. It did leave snow on the arborvitae trees which is always so beautiful. I was glad to see it stop and now not a trace. :D :peace: Harry

Well, I might actually see some of that white stuff again... It's been over 700 days since we've had an inch of snow here. The weather gurus are all about to start frothing at the mouth with the potential for this weekend's coming storm. I'm ready to go for any amount at this point. I would have to put the chains on the JD300 loader, but that's normal since I don't like to have them on unless there's snow, or a hard freeze in the ground.
