That sounds like interesting project. Before I built the 446 blower tractor , I thought about Doing something similar on Frankie so I didn't have to blow backing up anymore . His loader is removable. All ready have a hydra-blower and wet pto. I almost went that direction until we had a wet snow storm after supper then a freeze over night . The plow left a frozen mess of ice blocks and snow at the end of the driveway . This made me realize that keeping the bucket on one tractor for the end of the drive would save beating up the blower . So I kept the loader on and the hydra blower on the 3pt. for back up now .
I can understand when you got no option, but as far as I'm concerned, rear mounted snow blowers are for owls. My neck is too stiff to blow snow going backwards.

@Harry , I am with you on the sentiment of better be ready, but was rarely able to do so. We just got a little snow now, and untypical of me, the snowcaster's on the 444. As for the ridge left by the township plow, the orange monster can push like crazy.
Yes Eugen, I’m sure the orange monster will cut through the pile that the snowplow leaves at the end of the driveway effortlessly. :peace: Harry

Yesterday evening I got a little seat time, pushing and pulling snow with the loader. I've been working on my 644 lately, getting it ready for sale. I don't know how you guys are, but selling something is very stressful for me.I'm feel very comfortable to buy a tractor that has all kind of issues and then fix some, and even use the tractor in a less than perfect state. For my own use, if it's functional, I can tolerate all kind of things. This 644 is fully functional, rebuilt k321 engine, no cylinder leaks. But the exhaust had a leak, the tires were not holding air, and the headlights were not connected. So I've completely redone the exhaust, new pipes beginning to end and new muffler, got tubes for the tires and installed them, and last night I put a proper crimped connector and connected the headlights, so I had to test them; was itching to use the tractor as I haven't done it in a while. Obviously, overkill to use the loader on inch and a half thick snow :D but it was fun. :446cart:

I’m much the same as you. I have no problem acquiring things but I have a difficult time selling. I’d be terrible salesman! I’m glad you getting to have some fun on your 644. Maybe it will find its way into a shipping container yet! :D

Eugen , Just maybe you could build the house stuff with Other orange one then sell it and have the 644 for your day to farming needs. . Just a thought .

We had simular weather here . When it does finally get cold enough for the white stuff , I fear we we will get it in large quantities due to the lake affect of the Great Lake being open and warmer than usual . Others like Harry know exactly what I am talking about . Noel , do get that on the Island being in the St. Lawrence river ?
