Actually it was 9am when I said it was 75. I was still on EST. It was 89 at noon. Trip went well until we got stuck in traffic around Portland. Two hour drive took almost three. It’s been very dry here with no burning in effect. Bummer, I was looking forward to a camp fire and hoisting a few beers with my son. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have have a few with out the fire. That’s my vacation ramble.

Hurricane fer me too. Jumpins I hope not as bad as Fiona. That was just nasty. Hopefully no damage is done, and every body is safe.
Just gunna be me and the cat for the hurricane. Wife going to Ontario tomorrow morning.
Noel
Looks like the storm has shifted east a little. Probably 1-2" of rain here (2.5 - 5cm).
Sounds like a good thing that it’s moving East. I hope rain is all you see although 2” is enough.
Present forecast is minimal rain with 40mph winds. Looks like Noel's getting another direct hit.

Yes, I was watching the weather channel last night and they were showing the path centered over Noel’s area. I was hoping the intensity would drop off by the time it got to him.
@propane1 fingers crossed that you don’t see much from this Noel.

Noel, as much as I like your posts about wood cutting, I hope this storm passes you without giving you more work and that it causes no damage.

Thanks fellas. Yes, I don’t need a million more trees from hurricane Lee to add to the unfinished hurricane Fiona pile of wood.

So far, the hurricane Lee has not been very bad. I think we are gunna get away without any damage. Tomorrow morning will tell the tale.

Good luck Noel. Lee passed 200 miles east of here. It was breezy but nice. No major winds that I noticed. Probably 0.25" or so of rain early this morning. I spent the afternoon outside with the kids doing small projects. The weather was near perfect. Gentle breeze, sunny and low 70's.

That’s great news Noel! I’m glad it’s coming in gentle.

If Lee remains a Major storm , it will cost more than six million to clean up that fore sure man.
