With warmer weather coming and almost out of wood close to my shop, I decided to clean up the wood furnace and give it a coat of high heat header paint. First I gave the stove pipe a light sanding and then wire brushed the furnace down good. I could have used a third can of paint but two did a good job. After the paint dried I fired up the furnace and opened the two overhead doors to get a flow of air through the shop. That paint is nasty to breathe.

They are all good some of the time and some are good all the time. But all are not good all of the time. We all have are own peculiarities.

Yesterday I switched my tractors around to get ready for spring work outside. I moved my 446-winter tractor into the lean-to and moved the 644 lbh into the shop. I'm done working on the 446 but the 644 lbh needs some attention. The loader bucket cylinder is leaking oil and needs a seal kit, which is on the shelf ready to be installed. I also need to look at the "banana" control plate for wear. It still works fine but there is a noticeable amount of play. I'll probably change the oils while I'm at it and give it a good going over while it's in the shop.

Once I was having a few of my friends over to enjoy some sausage on the grill and share some libations. I lifted my Snapon scissor lift up to a comfortable height and put a 4X8 sheet of plywood on it for a table.
