Had to do a few last minute adjustments last night to get the idler pulley in the mule drive to not rub the belt or other pulley. A little sleeve change, some grinding, and a little bending and it came together.
Threw some weights on the drawbar
Gave it a good workout today.

Looks like the 448 is blowing snow well
Aside from throwing distance, the snowcasters really do a good job in the snow.

The orange and white snowcaster color scheme looks good on your tractor

Now that the hodge podge blower has proven itself I've actually been debating if I should paint it white or orange. White would be correct for the Black frame, but I like the look of the power red on the tractor.
I went out tonight just before dark and made a pass through the driveway, 8-10" and still snowing hard. It runs smooth and quiet and throws well.

I have been watching from afar this fall/winter. Never finished the last pass with the leaf collector, so it hasn't been put away. Obviously, the 448 hasn't had the deck taken off, or the snow blower put on. I tried to talk one of my sons-in-law into helping over Christmas, and we made arrangements for the "day". His wife and other sister talked them into going for the Polar plunge instead!! Then they returned to Florida.
Neighbor plowed me out with his PU yesterday, and drive looks somewhat blown in this morning. Maybe I will get the leaf stuff off and the blower on before winter is over! Yahoo!!!!!!
You guys have skills I never had, and more and more, I am sitting on the sidelines enjoying reading about you guys and your projects!

Wish I was near by Bill, and could stop by and get your blower on so you could get a little seat time.
