Thank you @MattA That is what my deck will get. The amount of grass it will discharge now with the brace removed is almost unbelievable. It went from being a lawn mower to a weed whacker.

Yesterday was a super productive day. Started breakfast at 6, had our guests out the door by 7:30. Made 3 loaves of bread, and in between changed the muffler on 60" mower tractor. Had all of the yard and neighbors trails mowed by 3:30. Started baking a roast, and supper at 5:30 when guests returned.

The past 2 weeks spare time went into replacing parts on the 4016 and 446. Starting with the 60" deck receiving a new spindle, new belts, blades, and front gage wheels. And lastly, the muffler, stolen from a parts tractor. New tubes and wheel bearings in stalled on the 4016. The 48" 446 received front wheel bearings, deck drive pulley, new belt, key switch, fuel filter.

Being able to reliably jump between tractors is a joy.
