I completed the Christmas lights just before Thanksgiving. They probably can see my house from the International Space Station.

want to put up ours this weekend and test them out before weather gets nasty . I said ok fine but we don't turn them on until Dec. 1st. I like them and all , and would rather do it sooner than later . But for me they loose their special appeal when they are on too long .
birthday so we went to a local casino to use up a $25 gift certificate I won in a raffle. She ended up walking away with a little over $300. Sooooooo. On the way home the money was evidently burning a hole in her pocket. We stopped on the way home and she bought two more 9’ trees for the front yard. Now you’ll be able to see our house on the moon. Yes we too have a real genuine imitation tree inside as well. It is up but thepropane1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 8:35 am No tree up inside yet. We just use a small fake tree.
A short video of mine outside.

likes it for a bit of 'mood' lighting in the living room - We have had (and really do like) natural trees - we've even bought a couple of 10' to really take advantage of the 10' ceilings in our 1880's house... Unfortunately it takes a ton of decorations to make it look 'dressed' and with just gifts for Kelly and I - well they get lost under a big tree...
