To day it was 2.10 cad $ per liter, times 3.8 equals 7.98cad per gallon. Converted that would be 6.37 USD

Was a little curious about gas prices around the world right now. In Venezuela a gallon of gas is .084 a gallon. In Hong Kong it's 11.21 a gallon. This is in US dollars.

As we have relatives in Eastern Europe, it was always clear how gas was significantly more expensive there, and their wages smaller. On the other hand, distances are smaller, and small engines or diesel is a lot more popular. On the other hand, I always was aware if the price of gas in the US. It's all relative, isn't it. We get used to it and that seems normal. Everyone else around the world has their normal. :violin:

So to offset using fuel a bit, :wife: has gone to London, ON to visit her relatives. That why I stayed home, :giggle: So I’ll drive her car a bit while she’s gone for a week and a half. 2013 Ford Escape. Gets 24 mpg as compared to my Ford Ranger at 17 mpg.
And just had a thought the other day to shut off the air conditioner in the truck and I did so in the car today too. May not make much difference, because the pumps run a bit any way I think. But maybe not as much if shut off.

Have a good day gentlemen.
