The belt gernaded for the caster this morning . It was new in the fall , but after 11' of snow this year I guess I can't complain . Thats our total snow fall amount so far this year . At least we didn't get 37.5" in one swipe like Providence did . :O

Dave I'm in the 30"+ zone as well. I did make it home tonight. I was very fortunate that two of my coworkers that live near the airport volunteered to dig my car out. No snow on the car but about 3' around the car + plowed in. The airport also had staff driving around helping shovel people out. They cleared the recently plowed snow for me. Back home the neighbors who I help out teamed up and cleaned one lane up the middle of my two lane driveway. Two with shovels and one with a small snowblower. Its probably 3' deep on both sides where I still need to move the snow. Might be time to get out the Berco? I have to admit while I really wanted to have some actual snow to play with my tractor, it was really nice getting home after traveling all day and not having to clean the driveway out to get into the house.

Best of luck Matt . Hopefully you get through it without too much difficulty . That is some crazy amount of snow in one dumping .

I’m still cleaning the snow after last Sunday Monday storm. We didn’t get the crazy amounts some got. But enough.
Threw the belt on the Case 224 snow thrower. I knew it needed one. So off to princess auto soon. Any body know if a 5/8” belt would work better than a 1/2” ?

I have used both 1/2” and 5/8” which seems to last about the same.

Since Dec 6, the weather guessers say Ayr has received 81 inches of snow. The last snow fall was February 24th.

Wow... @Spike188 81 inches :O Definitely a case of location, location, location... :dizzy:

We are 60km (40 miles) away from you and only got 36" in the same time frame - and probably less - because those #'s are from the airport which is outside of town and gets more than the downtown core...
(too much hot air from the steel companies and politicians at city hall)

Seemed like every time you and @DavidBarkey :writing: about getting feet of snow - we were only getting inches... With the mild spell the last couple of days we lost the last of our snow and the yard was completely bare... (until last night's flurries and we got another inch... :headbash: )

even with the recent mild spell we have 3 feet of compacted snow in the back yard . They are calling for rain next weekend . I hope we don't get to much melt too quickly . I don't have the time to build an ark .
