Well I'm presently having to extend my vacation with the family in Florida to Wednesday due canceled flights home due to snow. The snow forecast is somewhere in the 18" range???
After just watching a preseason Blue Jays baseball game in Florida and seeing the weather down there right now my heart is broken to know you have to stay a little longer . Matt enjoy your extra time down there . No doubt , you will pay a snow tax to mother nature when you get back .

Snow forecast is hanging in there at 18-24". I usually take care of two neighbors when it snows a lot. I expect my car to be plowed in at the airport. I did pack a small collapsible shovel in the trunk. I'm almost certain my hat and gloves are up front

After digging my car out I've got to install car seats, pack the car and head home where I expected to find about a 3' wall of snow blocking my driveway. My boots are in the house

I'm thinking of bringing home some trash bags to cover my shoes so that I can wade through the snow. Good times lol.
Here in Florida we'll find some stuff todo. This was yesterday's forecast. It's been high 80's for days.

When Olympics are over, it is snowing again, and a cold and sore throat has settled in, a bowl of homemade crackerjacks will be comfort food. The only prize at the bottom of the bowl is popcorn seeds.

Snow 25cm and 90km winds for today into tomorrow.
And I thought spring was coming.
So on Wednesday I’ll try out my new heated gloves. Not sure how that’s gunna work operating the tractor and wires going to the gloves. And carrying a battery pack to power them.

Any way we will find out. I tested the inside temperature of the gloves with my hands out of them and on high setting. Was 115F or so. Has low, medium and high settings. Sure chews up the power on high. No idea what brand they are. Wife got them on line. And they don’t come with a battery to power them

Any way I have one of those little car booster batteries so the glove plug fit into that.

Sooooo, that’s not good. Our Government highway snowplows normally have one way plows on for the winter.
But today I saw one with a V plow on it. Ouuuu, that’s not good. Been 10 years since I saw a V plow on a Goverment truck. Means more than normal amount of snow and high winds making drifts and blocking roads.

Put the battery in your pocket and run the wires through your sleeves. That will keep the wires out of your way

Sounds like we have a good 30" in my neighborhood back home. The airport where my car is reported a new record of 32.8" as of 1pm while it was still snowing. The previous record was 28.6" set during the blizzard of 78.
I ordered a hat, gloves and a snow brush to take home. I'm surprised Amazon claims they can deliver tomorrow in Florida.

It is -21C this morning here . I went to put on my heated gloves and the batteries are low . I guess there is a draw on them even when off from the touch button . Note to self , allways unplug the batteries and keep them full charge .
