I'm surprised there were no incidents; only one guy had wheelie-wheels. His tractor was set up for pulling, no surprise he won.

Like the Colt , worn but still working . I have a similar pictures and over half the kids in them are not still here to feel old . Every time I see or feel something that make me feel "old" I remind myself unlike others I am still here . Here to the ones left behind , raise a glass

Wife's 50th is next month, mine will be next year if anyone decides to do anything about it.

As for her's, not sure how I feel. They have sporadically had a couple throughout the years at a forest preserve or farm, everyone bring your own and kids welcome, very casual and a good time to visit.

This year they think that at our age we should go to a proper restaurant so it's $55.00 each with a choice of 4 entrees and cash for drinks. :wife: will win.

I so looked forward to a cilli cheese dog at the Hydro Free Fair. Hydro is the name of the town where I grew up.

Yes, there is a weiner in there someplace. 50 years ago, our mothers made the chilli with beans, not something dumped out of a can. The cheese was fresh grated, not squeezed from a bottle. And there was a garnish of fresh chopped onions and sweet pickle relish. The pain is real.
