The sunflower patch is really starting to look good, as long as you don’t look at the weeds growing with them!

In the summer time it’s not uncommon for me to be out doing things well past dark. Long days but I really enjoy this time of year. Especially when I’m getting seat time on a nice old tractor!

Took the kids on a small vacation on the way to our annual family reunion. Stopped at a theme park called knobles in PA. Kids had a good time. I'll post more pics once I sort through them.

This attraction caught my attention. Its internal combustion powered instead of electric. I'm not sure if it was originally diesel, gad or propane powered but its propane powered now.

I suppose I've been kinda MIA and an update is in order. We are all well, thank God. Very very busy, as you can imagine. I've been juggling being with the kids, getting sold the boat, parts tractors, the 224, the big backhoe, parging the house foundation, rebuilding the deck, painting the kitchen, redoing the truck brakes, and battling some nasty striped cucumber beetles which are killing our cucumber plants. On top of it I've had to step in at work and deal with some issues, although I'm supposed to be on paternal leave until August.
Crazy, the Davis D100 backhoe has been on the marketplace for some time even below $2000 and nobody wants it. I'd have bought it in a heartbeat when I was looking for one. Someone offered me 1000 for it. I said not yet.
Got lots of work ahead so we can put the house for sale.

@Eugen I have thought about calling you to catch up on how you are doing. I know we are both busy and know you are needed by your family.
Take care of yourself.

I know what you mean about selling equipment. I’ve decided to let some shop equipment go and posted them on CL. Sometimes it’s just finding the right person at the right time. The worst is when potential buyers are a no show.

Went to the taste of Buffalo last weekend. Saw this motorized shopping cart that was crazy.
