Wow, mowing here twice a week and also confirmed with one of my dealers in CT.
Goes to to show how sporadic the weather can be.

Mid to high 70's all weekend into early this week. Freeze warning tonight

I'm still trying to get my new grass to germinate. It's too early for this weather.

Funny weekend that just pasted. On Saturday I was mowing the lawn in a long sleeve shirt and Sunday I was blowing snow with insulated overalls!

Only got a dusting here , but with the temps and winds it made the roads slippery . Some more of the same today , but warmer and rain tommorrow .

I can relate Futz. Mowed the lawn one day and next day heavy wet snow. I just shoveled it about four inches of wet snow. The 446 with caster is ready to go but didn't seem worth the bother to get it out and figured I could use the exercise.

It's been kinda crazy here too...
The forecast on Saturday was very doom and gloom for the first snow storm of the year.

It was nice to have a little warning though, got the snow tires on the Tacoma and gathered another 5 bags of leaves off the back yard.
Woke up Sunday morning and I was a little underwhelmed, the only snow to be seen was on top of the truck...
It snowed on and off for the rest of Sunday and we got a little over 2" of heavy wet snow by the end of the day.
Walking through the neighbourhood on Monday and the scenery was different - a lot of the trees hadn't dropped their leaves before the snow storm - I think they gave up and just decided to let go of all the remaining leaves once they had a couple of inches of snow on them
The leaves are sticking to the wet snow and not blowing away like usual...
I felt sorry for this little tree though - seeing the circle of leaves around the trunk reminded me of Charlie Brown's Christmas tree - when it dropped all of it's needles...

We’ve had 2 snow falls in as many days down here. Missed a 3rd one today thankfully. This is the earliest we’ve had this much on the ground in a long time. I’m not enjoying it! Really making me think out headed south!

I am getting a lot of calls for snow blower repairs yesterday . We had a a lot wet snow day after day and then flash freeze . " The blower starts and drives but dies as soon as I engage the blower . I have to go pick 3 up bring them home and find room in the shop to thaw them out check and replace auger belts as needed while still working on the truck box . It is going to be a full house in the shop for a couple of days .
