Made it up to -10f today, 5" of powder snow and the tractor would not start and too damn cold to mess with it Temp is -15f now

-8 F in Northern IL right now, 50 mph winds blowing the several inches of new snow around but that will create some deep drifts. Filled the 4018 with gas tonight, hopefully can make it to work tomorrow AM by 6:30 with 4WD and will deal with the snow later in the day.

The winter storm is just starting here in WNY. The snow is coming in horizontal. I’m figuring with the wind gusts it’s only a matter of time before the power is out and my Generac starts up. Harry

As I was posting the previous message the power went out and the generator started. Harry

Once again that Generac proves it was a good investment @Harry !

We have now two small generators, one I got from Dave and another which came up for sale cheap recently. Haven't yet figured out a way to hook them up to things in the house but watch me doing it like speedy Gonzales if the power goes out.

@Jancoe too bad you couldn't go ice fishing, hopefully soon!

@Timj don't you like it when the storm is not as bad as they forecasted? Hope it happens to us too.

Rain over night turned to snow this morning , wind have picked up as well . The officially . Time to go hide in the shop for a bit .

Wind and rain has started here. 100 kilometre winds they are saying for over nite.
Strange direction this wind thou. SE, we rarely get a SE wind here.

Tryed to work in the shop for a bitt more after lunch . Made the same part 3 time 3 times something was wrong . Too hard to consentrated with the wind rattleing everything . For me it is like someone constantly saying hey , hey , hey . Frustating at times . Try again tommorrow .

and I looked it up. It is a thing of which I am not alone ,it appers to trigering my axciety issue made worse from the head injury . Now I know what is going on I can hopefully find away to deal with it untill hopefully it gets better with time and healing .
