I couldn’t help but pull through the equipment dealers lot and do some daydreaming. Sure are some nice shiny things here I’d love to play with!

Argh! My dear 644 which I just wanted to put for sale shows a small hydraulic oil leak at the pump. Cannot sell it like that so the engine needs to move forward and the pump to come out. :33:

:cuss: That’s not the way it’s supposed to go!
Hopefully it won’t be to bad to repair.

@Eugen Those look like "cold" casting marks where the molten metal enters a mould from multiple headers and vents. In most cases they do not effect the integrity of the part. Experience has taught me that when cold joints are failures it will be in multiple castings. Setting up a bench test with the pump out of the tractor should not be to hard. I had several @thebuildist moments this week. In one instance a tool chuck was closed minus the tool causing the collet to jam. Procedure for clearing the jam is removing the 1700 psi pump and connecting a 10 ton hand pump. In this case 3000 psi was not adequate for releasing the jam. I entionality put 5000 psi to the cylinder, ruining the 3000psi gage and creating a fear that internal seals may have failed after over pressure. Further testing proved that stroke adjustment was the root cause of all the issues. Yes there was sweat.

@Eugen . Was there any oil residue in the inside of the pump mount bracket ? If so change the front shaft seal.

Bought it
At some point I'll start work on a mount to the mule drive.
Both linear actuators work. The bucket dump actuator has a clutch when it hits the end of its range. The lift probably does but I can't test that without the actuator mounted on both ends.
The bucket is actually small enough that I've got it on a shelving rack in my garage with the mount removed.
