Hi everyone and Thanks for letting me join. Harry sent me here and I am really hoping someone might be able to help. I am very serious about purchasing a restored or close to it 446 or 448 with deck blower and tiller. I have cash available and would like to buy something asap. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.I live near Lakefield Ontario.
Thanks Tony.

@Tony1960 Welcome to CCIGT! @Harry steered you to good group. There are about 15 of us in Ontario on this site so you are in close proximity to help in your search and after the purchase.

I am with @Timj in wondering if you are a previous owner of Case or Ingersoll.

There are short frame and long frame versions of the 400 series tractors. Will you be using it on hilly terrain? If so you will want to look for one that has a holding valve to help control speed when travelling down hill. These are just a couple of suggestions off of the top of my head.

We will post links to ones we find offered as they come up.

Thanks for the feedback. I do have an Ingersoll 448 anniversary edition with deck and blower that I really like. Kinda why I want another...real nice one. My son could really use my setup and I have been wanting a restored one with tiller deck blower etc. I think they are the nicest cutting machine I've had so here;s hoping I can find a replacement soon. Mostly flat land where I am but I do cut alot of grass and have a big driveway to keep clear, and maybe till up a couple of food plots for the deer.
Thanks again. Tony.

Welcome to the forum Tony, great to see you joined! Tillers almost never come update for sale alone around here. Mostly as a package. There was a package for sale recently that included a tiller but I found the price too high for me. Before this I believe its was me about three years ago that I sold a 220 with deck, tiller, and snowcaster for 1800, to give you an idea of prices. But it was in almost original shape, not restored.

A bunch of us keep an eye on the market. Myself only for the fun of it, as I have too many tractors already. :109:

Hi Tony , Welcome aboard . So you are north of Peterborough by Stonny lake ? . I am in Waverley North of Barrie near Midland . I can not help you with 446 but have a 222 I restored a couple of years ago going up for sale this spring . Great for cutting grass , super strong motor in it .

Thanks for the update Dave. I would definitely need a 48 inch deck for my property. Please pm me a price and I did see a 446 you were working on in the restorations part of the forum that really interests me.
Thanks Tony.
