The quart is a better price for the quantity, and being the right colour and quality is not a bad choice. If only we had a dealer closer to us. :violin:

I found in my pile of "stuff " a virgin piece of Desert Sunset back side no fade . I am going to see if the local hardware store can colour match some rust paint . They have a optical scanner .

So if you get the mix your happy with, could you send the mix ratio to me, then I could go to the Home Hardware store here and get it mixed. Some day might paint the 224. Thanks.

Dave, over here by me we have an auto parts store than can scan paint and then mix it into a rattle can. They will make any color you want. They put them in the taller spray can something like 18oz. Last I remember i paid around $15-18 a can US. Wonder if there is anything around you that puts paint into rattle cans?

Ya used them before . Carquest in Midland (about 10 min away ) use to do it but , got out of doing it unfortunately due to cast and regulations .

Broke down and bought a top loader spray gun . Now to use it I have to create a spray booth area to use it . Which means another project I don't have time for right now .
