Harry,
I've been using a Tera Pump electric transfer pump since January with good results. I like it for the 446 (especially when the snow cab is on) and to gas up my generator when we have power outages.

After you guys mentioned these battery operated pumps I had a look on amazon and am considering getting the Tera model.

Agreed! I've seen Bobs snowcaster mods and custom weight bracket on the old forum. Nice work...
Dave - Thanks for the heads up on the EZ-POUR spouts not lasting. I didn't get around to buying anything yet.

Thanks Matt, for some reason I didn't come across Bob's snowcaster mods which is something that I really have to do. I said it before, I was not impressed with my 446 snowcaster performance.

Kick off a snowcaster mod thread when your ready. I think the old case snowcaster auger can be adjusted to close up the clearance to the rear of the housing. You can also change the gear ratio.

Demo of my current transfer hose. It's fast and has no auto-stop.
