Seen it, offered the guy 1200, never heard back. The Honda clone engine and bad hydraulic pump kind of kill the value for me. If he came back at 1500 I might take it. The same tractor was for sale 2 years ago for $2800, it’s the only 600 series Case I’ve ever seen for sale in the Maritimes.

“Great little tractor for the right jobs. The bucket on the front and tiller on the back both work great. It has a brand new motor and the throttle and choke were never hooked up. We just left it on high and opened the hood to put the choke on when it starts up but it wouldn't be hard to hook them up. The main reason we re selling is that the drive train doesn't have a lot of power going over bumps or up hills. My mechanic thought maybe the hydrolic motor powering the drive might be old and bypassing since the other hydrolic functions work. I don 't know enough or have enough time to problem solve it and our land is too hilly to not have power. Hopefully someone can use it!
oh ya. the seat is cracked
oh. I'm not sure what year it is.”

Only the front end loader is worth at least 1500! Here, to me.

I’d be more motivated to buy if the 7020 wasn’t here parked in my yard

If you consider even building a FEL for a 446 (which I did), you end up with a pretty high price. What I think it's worth is that you get a proper chassis and loader, one of the strongest built such animals in a small tractor. Consider that you pay at least $5000 in Ontario, where they do come up occasionally for sale. So $2000 in NS where you say they are even more rare, and it comes with 3pt hitch, pto, and even tiller. To get a good hydraulic motor would not cost you more than $1000. It's a great deal as it is, and I'd have gotten it in a second if it were in Ontario. I don't think the pump is the problem, although the pump can be replaced with a princess auto one, since the engine is not original anyways.

Oh well, that's different! Your fellow other guy in NS that's building his own tractor would be a good candidate then, but then he's building his own tractor already.
anyway, wish this was near me

Well this one came up for sale again, I had thought I took a screenshot but I didn't, oops. Still in NS, this time in Old Barns. Fella named Lee had it for sale. Still all the same problems as before but now included a little 2cyl Kubota diesel not installed and a tractor seat, also not installed. Price this time was $2550.

I’m hoping someone is going to take the engine out of it and give up on it, I need the price a little lower lol

LOL remember I already have the 7020 here so I can use that to justify not needing the 646
