So the tractor with the modern steel wheels on it in the picture was built in the 30's and finished in 1937 . This picture is of my grandfather Bruce Barkey at age 14 in April or May of 1937 on the "main st " of Markham Ont.

on it's maiden voyage . They took it to town to show it off . This was built mostly from Star car parts built in Hamilton Ont. by Durant Motor Company (one of the founding members of General motors and had factories
in

Can't wait to see a photo of your son behind the wheel when it's been restored...

I agree, when it’s fixed up you gotta recreate that photo!

Dad and I went on a road trip to see a laddie and her son to buy from her late husband's collection. He was into all early Ford stuff and had a lot of new and used parts for Model A stuff . I came home with 6 used tires to go with the 2 I got last Friday and 8 tubes and 8 rim liners for $220

. Dad got a really good manifold for his A truck witch has a druppy manifold $125.

Nice people with similar interests , After finding what we needed we talked for about an hour . Got home about 4 pm , exhausted , but had a great day . Today will be getting tires on these things and putting them away for a couple of weeks so I can get caught up on other stuff .

A cool looking tractor for sure and a testament to your persistence and tenacity to the project.
