So the tractor with the modern steel wheels on it in the picture was built in the 30's and finished in 1937 . This picture is of my grandfather Bruce Barkey at age 14 in April or May of 1937 on the "main st " of Markham Ont. on it's maiden voyage . They took it to town to show it off . Dad and I went on a road trip to see a laddie and her son to buy from her late husband's collection. He was into all early Ford stuff and had a lot of new and used parts for Model A stuff . I came home with 6 used tires to go with the 2 I got last Friday and 8 tubes and 8 rim liners for $220 . Dad got a really good manifold for his A truck witch has a druppy manifold $125. Nice people with similar interests , After finding what we needed we talked for about an hour . Got home about 4 pm , exhausted , but had a great day . Today will be getting tires on these things and putting them away for a couple of weeks so I can get caught up on other stuff .
