Too keep this tread going . I sold my 4x8 box trailer and bought a used 6x10 tilting flat bed . Plan is to add stake bed sides to it after cleaning it up , paint , wood preservative , and surge brakes .
If you look closely in the top pick you will see my new apprentice . His name is Jack .

Fixed up my lights. The shackles were flipped from being up on the hoist. So got that fixed. Oiled the jack stand, locking mechanism and a few other things today. She’s ready to roll.

No , only commercial use over 4500 kg need yearly safety here.

Finally got the new trailer finished and out for a test run . Brakes worked well and towed nice and straight . Didn't buck the truck like the big trailer does if it doesn't have enough weight on it .
Surge brakes , tilt deck , removable stake sides , reverse lights .
