GT for sale cheap

I’m considering purchasing this GT from someone who wants it gone. He bought it with good intensions to fix it up but that never happened. Now he said is time to clean up and move it. When I spoke to him yesterday he said $50 but I’ll have to go check it out. Don’t get sick when you look at the color. He said it ran when he parked it. :78: and the loader worked good. This would be something to get cleaned up to and sell not something I would want to keep. What are the members thoughts. Maybe I shouldn’t ask. :peace: Harry

... Yes, maybe you shouldn't ask :))
That looks like one of those situations when you hear people say they were just in the right place at the right time...
(What's their contact info? I'm sure I can find $75 :fight:

The hydraulic valves and cylinders are worth that if not pitted. Putter putter...

The steel in the loader and bucket alone worth the money.
If it was runnable and the loader worked. Sure would be a handy tool around the yard for somebody

I don’t need a project now, but it would make a good winter project. I’ll check it out and update you all with pics when I pick it up. :peace: Harry

Good luck Harry! I hope you bring it home and it’s nicer that you think! As stated I don’t think you can go wrong for $50 bucks or less.

I think my wife would suspect I've been replaced with a mad clone if I ever passed a $50 tractor. 😁

The guy delivered today. After getting a close look at it it is a POS. He took $20 for the delivery and $50 for the GT. It was worth what I paid but it will be a work in progress. What do you guys think? :O :30:  :peace: Harry

@Harry You may find the chicken roosting on it somewhere. I hope you have safety glasses in when looking at those welds. All jokes aside, it is still a great parts source at the price.

@Harry I think your right, it is a POS, but it is worth the $70 you paid. If it were mine I don’t think I’d be looking at getting it going and selling it on. I would be more interested in repurposing the material for my own needs. What ever you decide to do with it I hope you can take us along on the journey!

Looks like you got a decent weight box
Maybe sell off the loader and put the money toward one of your case project tractors?
