Welcome to the forum.

I am known as ssmewing, Hemlock Case Guy. Hemlock Case guy is on YouTube, Facebook, and eBay. My name is Steve.

That 3016PS is most likely a 3016-1 on the model tag. That means it was a model that was tried and did not continue production.

I have a 4016-1 PS. I am going to sell it. But, it has had a complete overhaul including the engine that was previously swapped to an 18 hp Onan. The cylinders were professionally honed back to perfectly round and new rings. I like all my tractors to have engines that are not oil burners. They all just get the oil changed when it gets to the add line on the dipstick. I also have it loaded with goodies. I have to figure out my asking price yet. It will be high as every hose is new and more. That and it has been my main steady and ready for years. There are no leaks from the engine or the hydraulics.

If you could. Can you post a picture of your 224 orange and white mowing tractor and the year.
And we’d like to see pictures of all of them over time.

Noel
Propane, here’s a picture of my 224. Don’t remember the year off hand, but I’ll run the serial number and update this once I have a minute.

Welcome to the group. We're all case ingersoll nuts here. I'd like to add a 3016ps to my collection one day. I do have a 4016ps and a few other 4000's but would like a low pro for lawn mowing duty only. We all like pictures here so post away. Lol

Welcome to the site Leland! I just got back from being in Florida for a week. I flew from Grand Rapids a week earlier to Jacksonville to see the new Grandson and came back Saturday evening to Grand Rapids. I thought of you before flying out, thinking someday it might be nice to meet you.

Grand Rapids is 2 hours from me, and Detroit airport is 2 hours away from me. If I flew out of Detroit to Jacksonville it would have cost me $300 for each of us one way. Out of Grand Rapids on a different company, it cost each of us $37 to Jacksonville, and $59 on the return flight. So it cost us $100 each for the round trip from GR, and it would have cost us $600 each for roundtrip going out of Detroit. No brainer!!

I had been reading some of your posts from the other site recently and wondered where up there you are located.

Good to have you join us!

I have a 4118 that is almost finished, a 448 redone about 4 years ago, a 448 that needs help badly, and a 4020. Used to have 8 machines out there when my wife informed me something needed to happen.

Sounds like you needed another building to hold all your machines. Is that what your wife wanted to happen Bill? :7:

Heck Harry,

She had seen me put a loft into my 32x48 machine shed in order to gain floor space so I could put her stuff up there. I had 8 Case Ingersoll tractors, several 48" mower decks, 3 60" mower decks, 2 tillers, Leaf sucker with trailer, 1 blade, 2 snow throwers, one cab on the floor, 1 complete Studebaker Avanti, another Avanti body, and some shop equipment.

We can't really store stuff outside for long BC we live within the City of Coldwater. Not within the city limits, but certainly within the city.

Another machine shed was not what my wife had in mind!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!

Yes! Serial #R1013. 1st quart of production, 13th Avanti produced as a 1963 model year in June of 1962, 4 speed, supercharged Studebaker 289 CI engine, fiberglass body, 4 passenger, built in Roll padded bar, Front disc brakes, true bucket seats.

Okay, I have posted picture before, but don't seem to be able to right now.

Anyone offer help? Thanks!
