446 ready for winter

Post by Harry »

Today I installed the heavy JD combine weights on the winter GT. Checked it over changed oil and filter. Looks to be ready, I’ll park it with the battery tender on and one job done.

Harry , how do you find grip in the winter with the lugs . I found the old turfs with 2 link chains do better here than the lugs. The studs did help the lugs , but chains still better . I want at some point to put on a set of real auto motive snow with studs . I think that would be the best traction I could get on a mixed surface .
