@Eugen - That certainly is a skill... I'll bet if you hooked up a plow to your Case/Davis trencher and sped up the video in playback...

I'm off work until January. Took the kids for some shopping on this rainy day. We went to a fairly fancy grocery store named the Canadian Superstore looking for pickles and whipping cream. After not finding pickles I asked the lady at the deli department for the pickles in their own brine, that's in the fridge usually. That's the only kind I like. She said the store will no longer carry that type, only the ones in vinegar. I must've scoffed a little in disbelief. The other lady, that was being served, looked at me kinda harshly and let out a "it is what it is". I guess I got a "shut up Karen" treatment. hehe

Don’t feel alone I did something worse awhile back. I stopped at an upscale grocery store and thought I’d get some lunch from the deli. They had catfish fillets so I ask how much. My hearing must be getting bad because I swear the counter man said $2 a pound. I said I’ll take a pound please. He gives me the fish and the bill I look at it and it’s $10.99! I almost fell over! I said I what is the price? He says $10.99 a pound. Living around the rivers all my life I’ve had quite a bit of catfish and I can assure you I’ve never paid that kind of price! I was shocked and was handing the box back to him when I realized I was kinda making a “Karen” scene, glad I caught myself. I apologized and said I must have misheard you. He gladly took the fish back and I left pondering if I’m really that out of touch or it they are really that overpriced. I think from now on I’ll get fish closer to the river!
