We spent a lot of time with the metric system when I was in grade school, they were sure we were going to switch to metric. I asked my daughters about it and they said they had spent very little time with it and had never heard anything about switching to it. I guess we're farther away from switching.

The temperature difference seems to be the toughest. When we went to NW Ontario fishing the one camp owner said to double the temperature and add 32. I never tried it to see if it was close to accurate. :106:

The one I know by heart is 0C is 30F. That's what I often think when it comes to which engine oil to use and such. :creeper:

Fixed it 👍

Another flash flood warning this morning, multiple tornado warnings this evening. Weather seems to have calmed down a bit but more heavy rains later this evening.

Possibly hurricane this weekend 🤷‍♂️

Hurricane fer me too. Jumpins I hope not as bad as Fiona. That was just nasty. Hopefully no damage is done, and every body is safe.

Just gunna be me and the cat for the hurricane. Wife going to Ontario tomorrow morning.

Looks like the storm has shifted east a little. Probably 1-2" of rain here (2.5 - 5cm).

I’m currently in Vegas in route to Portland. Three hour layover. Seventy five and sunny here in the desert at 10 am. :peace: Harry

I hope you have good travels and good weather! Too bad I saw this so late in the day, I’d have tried to talk you into placing a bet for me while you were waiting for the plane! :D

Sounds like a good thing that it’s moving East. I hope rain is all you see although 2” is enough.
