We hit 87°F here yesterday and today. AFAIK we broke the temperature record set in the 1940's by several degrees. I even fired up my central air conditioner... kinda blows living in the middle of a field. You just cook all day long.

We’ve had a week of absolutely great weather here. Day time highs in the low 80s with low humidity. Nights in upper50s. Wish it would stay like this all the time!
They are taking about strong storms coming in tomorrow afternoon I guess we’ll see what happens.

We had a good weather week here too, low to mid 80s, hit 90 on Wednesday, low humidity so "Red flag" warnings, had to be careful welding on the job.
The warm felt good and really dried things up, but its spring in WI and we have to pay. winter storm watch for Sunday night into Monday, 30s for high. :124:

Getting reports of 100 MPH wind gusts and TENNIS BALL size hail!!!

This is just to our south. We’re supposed to get a piece of it in a little while.

We don't have storms like that around here. Hopefully you have a good place to hide underground. No idea what @Timj means by bowing out.

I think we’re just gonna get a typical thunderstorm. The bad stuff is passing 50 or 60 miles south of us.

It’s a normal occurrence for bad storms to come up out of Oklahoma and follow interstate 44 into St Louis. I’ve told my wife more time than I can count I’m glad we didn’t move to that area!

@MattA Yes if we get a bad one we go to the back wall of the basement.
What @Timj was taking about was the radar image. If you look at it it’s curved like a bow. That typically means high wind, hail, heavy rain, and as of right now a possible tornado in St Louis County.

Thanks @JSinMO I was curious about what the actual bowing did weather wise. We rarely get dark red storms here. We also rarely do get tornadoes here too.

the most severe part of thunder storm lines will bow/curve outward on a strengthening storm. High winds are common. We see more of these kind of storms here in WI than tornados, straight line winds that blow everything in one direction.
