Oh, and if you have any parts left over after assembly, I'll help you get rid of them, as I have experience with that! :giggle:

I hope the only parts left over are the ones I replaced . Ya this one is for Dad .

Looking forward to this one Mr. Dave! I really like the dashboard on these. Reminds me of the AC 180 we had at home.

making some progress .
everything stripped , derustification, repaired where needed , and painted . Doing all the black and galvanized parts first .

David, Great attention to detail IMHO. :letmesee: You mentioned it was for Dad, so that speaks a lot. I can remember when my Dad wanted something done, I would jump through hoops to get it done and right. Probably because of all the crap I put him through as a child! LOL! Dads in good shape for his age , but does turn 80 this year . So trying to get it done so he can enjoy it while he can.

Nice job Dave! The tin looks pretty straight so hopefully not a lot of body work needed.

I hope you get to enjoy time with your dad for a long time.
