It’s supposed to get nasty later today. Time will tell how much we get. I was looking forward to getting the 446 out to exercise it since the blizzard problem. :peace: Harry

Well looks like we dodged another one. The storm tracked south we didn’t end up with much more than some wet roads, not that I’m complaining!

might get to use my case -ingersoll yet this winter, about 1-1 1/2 inch now and suppose to continue till about 5 pm, I think the 2 extra ponies and the 10 less inches of blower really shines when the snow is wet like this. Kyle :coffee:

Was planning to go to Toronto yesterday, which is a 2h drive even when there's not traffic congestions. Then we got this "special weather advisory" about snow accumulation and bad driving conditions for more than half the distance and, untypical of me, decided to go the way of caution rather then brave the conditions. Well, there was nowhere near the snowmageddon they called for and I was a little irked at them, but at the same time I know they can't possibly get it always right, so no hard feelings really. Now we have 3" of snow on the ground, making me itchy to get some seat time, unjustified as it may be. :D

Yes... the :wife: gave me a strange look as I came in from outside just now... holding my snow shovel and empty hardhat (favourite salt spreading device) Kelly questioned why I wasn't waiting until later so I could use Max to clear our 80' of sidewalk - I replied it's been snowing 3.5 hours and all the weatherman has to show for himself is an inch and a half of snow - think this weeks "snowmagedden" is going to be another bust :headbash:

Um... I don't believe there is such a thing as "unjustified seat time", :106: others may disagree but.... :47: :78:

36F and starting to rain. Going to hit about 52F at 3AM and stay warm until the rain stops mid morning. Might have to start the tractor up and let it run for a bit. Hasn't run at all this winter.

9C tomorrow. But in the morning it’s going to be a mix of snow and rain. -1C in the morning. Then later in the morning 100 K winds start for the day and temperature rises. :109: Another January thaw and wind storm. :42:

I haven't ventured out yet today. The 448/blower is sitting just outside the garage door. The booster charger has been on it all night. Hopefully it will turn over fast enough to start. If not, the morning will be spent making a space in the garage for it.
At least it is parked a few feet outside the door so pushing it in side will be no problem.
