Loaded up, so the journey starts here. Poor little guy needs quite a bit of restoring action and tlc.

@DavidBarkey you were totally right, early 80s.

Look at the first post Dave, I added the picture. You were right!

It has the original Case battery!

The engine quite rusty. Not seized. :bee:

I clicked on the badge picture above and put thumb and finger together on the touchpad of my PC, then move them apart to zoom in. Tag says 444 81.

Just to clarify. Did you try to zoom in on the small picture in the post? like that I can only make out the 1 of the 81. But if I click on the picture to get the bigger version then voom in the 81 is clear.

In firefox and possibly other browsers you can hold down the ctrl key and scroll the mouse to zoom in and out.

Put a good battery on and it cranks fine. The hydraulic and motor oil look alright but it'll get new fluids all around.

Carb is stuck in open position, needs overhaul. This little guy sat for many years. The rims got almost no paint left, surface rust has won the battle. Seat rusted through, and upholstery all ripped; unusable. On the plus side, the steering wheel is good.

Got no spark. Pulled the spark plug, no spark. More troubleshooting needed. I would not be surprised if the block is still STD.
